2024 National Training Seminar – NAPCH
The National Association of Professional Canine Handlers (NAPCH) is proud to host the 2024 National Training Seminar, a premier event for canine handlers across the country. This year, over 300 dedicated handlers and their dogs will converge at the Alpena National Guard Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC) in Alpena, Michigan. This dynamic seminar offers a unique opportunity for professionals in the field to engage with the latest advancements in canine training, certification, and techniques designed to improve working dogs’ performance and handler safety.
Comprehensive Training & Certification
The seminar offers a full range of training workshops and certification opportunities, spanning areas such as scent detection, patrol, tracking, and handler safety. Expert trainers will provide in-depth sessions on cutting-edge methods and techniques. This is a crucial event for handlers looking to elevate their skills, work more efficiently with their K9 partners, and ensure they meet national standards in the field. Practical exercises and simulations are designed to challenge both handlers and dogs, sharpening their abilities in real-world scenarios.
Networking & Collaboration Opportunities
Beyond the intense training sessions, the NAPCH National Training Seminar serves as a platform for professional networking and collaboration. Handlers from across the country—spanning law enforcement, military, and private sectors—will have the chance to exchange ideas, learn from each other’s experiences, and foster connections that extend beyond the event. Whether it’s learning about new equipment, enhancing communication techniques with canine partners, or discovering innovative solutions to challenges in the field, this seminar is a must-attend for any serious canine handler.
